Alycia Castillo is the Director of Policy and Advocacy at the Texas Center for Justice and Equity. Alycia leads the organization’s policy research and advocacy aimed at upending systems of oppression and building an infrastructure of support.

Alycia joined TCJE as a Policy Associate during the state’s 86th Legislative Session in 2019. She works with individuals, families, and community groups with lived experience in the criminal punishment system to elevate their perspectives and needs to shape a more just public policy.
