As PJI’s Mission Support Associate, I manage the organization’s financial, human resources, daily operations and staff event planning functions. My goal is to make sure our internal operations fully support the staff, follow the law and allow us to carry out our mission.
Growing up in the inner city of Baltimore, I’ve always had a strong sense of community and desire to help others. I have a Bachelor of Science in human services, which led me to work in multiple nonprofits in direct service capacities. At the Center for Urban Families, I worked with clients on job readiness skills. I also worked as a program manager at Bon Secours Family Support Center, helping teen mothers continue and finish high school while working on their parenting skills. I went on to work as a case manager with new mothers, helping them create safe and stable environments for their children. My work at PJI allows me to continue this work on a larger scale, influencing change in support of families impacted by mass incarceration.
I love organizing and creating art. Outside of PJI, I own an event coordinating business with the moniker Superbly Designed. I recently added custom artwork and gift wrapping as services, which allows me to place my talents on display while bringing joy to the inner creative that is within us all.

That I ask the right questions at the hardest times. I'm not afraid to speak my mind and be transparent.
