
As the Finance Consultant for PJI, Ann is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial processes; including payables, payroll, month-end close, grant reporting and the annual audit. She takes care of the numbers and also manages processes and systems that keep the finance part of the organization running smoothly. Ann started her career in public accounting at KPMG but joined nonprofits starting in 2014 and has been in the nonprofit sector ever since. Prior to joining PJI, she worked in finance at several other nonprofits including a special education school for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Ann brings that broad experience to support the team and PJI’s various financial processes. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from James Madison University in Virginia and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ann currently lives in Virginia with her husband and three active boys. During her free time, she enjoys reading murder mysteries and tending to her big gardens of fruits, vegetables, and flowers.
