I am the Finance Consultant for PJI. I am responsible for overseeing PJI’s financial processes including payables, payroll, month-end close, grant reporting and the annual audit. I take care of the numbers but also of processes and systems that keep the Finance part of PJI running smoothly. I started my career in public accounting at KPMG but joined nonprofits starting in 2014 and have been in nonprofit ever since. Prior to joining PJI, I worked in finance at several other nonprofits including a special education school for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. I bring that broad experience to support the team and PJI’s various financial processes. I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting from James Madison University in Virginia and am a Certified Public Accountant.
I currently live in Virginia with my husband and three active boys. During my free time, I like to read murder mysteries and tend to my big gardens of fruits, vegetables and flowers.
