Sasha Hudson (she/her) is a certified public accountant serving as the Senior Director of Budget for Johns Hopkins University. In her current role, Ms. Hudson is responsible for providing leadership over the annual operating and capital budgets and five-year financial plans as well as quarterly projections for a complex organization with an annual budget of over $6 billion. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins University, Sasha held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently, as the Assistant Vice President and Controller for the University of Maryland Baltimore County for four years and the Controller at the University of Baltimore for 10 years.
Sasha’s main objective as a finance professional is to significantly strengthen the quality of financial planning and analysis required to inform strategic decision making. In addition to her experience leading the budget and accounting functions in the higher education field, Ms. Hudson has several years of experience in audit, general accounting management, and leadership roles in private enterprise, governmental, and not-for-profit environments.
Sasha is an active certified public accountant and earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Morgan State University. She also holds Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Business Administration degrees from the University of Maryland, Global Campus.
