The National Judicial College has produced a new publication, Pretrial Justice in Criminal Cases: Judges’ Perspectives on Key Issues and Opportunities for Improvement. The report is the result of a focus group discussion conducted with 36 judges from 22 states and DC, who participated in The National Judicial College in the fall of 2012. The focus group focused on pretrial justice practices, decision making and possible improvements to the current pretrial system.
